Made with aluminum alloy construction that is lightweight but still rated as a Type 1 ice axe, built for use as a snow anchor and for use in self-arrests. This ice axe is perfect for your next snowy hike or alpine adventure.

• Nylon spike plug to keep snow out of the shaft
• Machined grip for good handling
• Rated in accordance with EN 13089 Type 1 for use as a snow anchor and self-arrest
• Small head slot for integration with the Corsa leash (not included)

*Not suitable for use on vertical ice, mixed terrain, or for intense step chipping
